Kids will have fun as they build a realistic V8 engine. Build it, add batteries, start it up, and watch it run!

Once assembled a simple press of a button turns on the power, spins the cooling fan, pistons fire up and down, lights flicker mimicking the air-fuel combustion process, and emits sounds of a roaring engine.

In addition to the mechanical skills acquired through building, this V8 Combustion Engine Model Kit also includes a detailed introduction in the instruction manual. By reading, children will recognize the difference between an electric motor vs. the powerful V8, and learn about different types of combustion engines. Lastly, the introduction delves into the four-stroke cycle through a visual representation of the four steps (Intake, Compression, Power, and Exhaust).

Fully assembled, the engine is ready to go at 7.25" x 7.25" x 11". Requires 3 x "AA" batteries, not included.
