Cave Popcorn Rock

Place these rocks in a shallow bowl and cover them with household vinegar. Set the dish where it will not be disturbed and observe it every day for a week. Small white crystals begin to form the first day and will continue to grow. Great metaphor for stalagmites, cave frost, and other delicate features found in limestone caves.
